<p>FHI 360 conducts epidemiologic studies using a variety of research designs, such as cohort, case-control, case-cohort and partially randomized patient-preference designs. Recent epidemiologic studies conducted by FHI 360 include investigations of:</p>

<li>Hormonal contraception and the risk of HIV acquisition and disease progression</li>
<li>HIV antibody response for the development of HIV incidence assays and algorithms</li>
<li>HIV incidence to identify potential sites for future HIV prevention trials</li>
<li>Factors associated with improved quality of life for persons living with HIV infection</li>
