The Asian Epidemic Model Projections for HIV/AIDS in Thailand: 2005-2025
2008 - The prevalence of HIV remains a significant public health challenge in Thailand. Using the Asian Epidemic Model and epidemiological and behavioral data inputs, the Analysis and Advocacy Project and the Thai Working Group on HIV/AIDS Projections — with technical support from FHI 360 — developed national projections for HIV/AIDS over a 20-year period. This report details the methodology used, as well as proposed projections and recommendations for strengthening prevention and care across Thailand.
